This workshop will focus on the more negative aspects of the internet and the profound influence these aspects are beginning to have on our clients, students, teens and young adults. Methods for gaining access to internet pornography will be described. Concepts such as “cyberbullying” and “sexting” will be defined and their impacts will be presented. Finally, suggestions for supervising and treating clients who present with these issues and behaviors will be presented.
At the conclusion of this training, participants will:
1. Be able to identify the means used to access internet pornography and several techniques and tools to block this access
2. Better able to define “cyberbullying” and “sexting” and list their ramifications, primarily for teens and young adults
3. Learn treatment techniques to use with clients that have engaged in these behaviors

Lisa has provided training for: Ohio State University, College of Social Work, Franklin County Municipal Probation Department, the Franklin County Adult Probation Department, Ohio Corrections and Court Services Association and the Midwest Regional Hostage Negotiators Conference; Lisa is a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers.
