Your field placement is where social work comes alive. It presents you with multiple opportunities to become a part of the professional social work community, to put learning into practice, and to develop your social work skills.
We have over 600 agencies across the State that are affiliated with us, and over a thousand social workers who work with us to help mentor you and guide you through a meaningful experience.
The field placement is where the core values of social work should be apparent on a daily basis:
* Service
* Dignity and worth of the person
* Importance of human relationships
* Integrity
* Competence
* Social Justice
These core values, adopted by the National Association of Social Workers, 1996, guide our ethical practice, and are the cornerstone of our profession. Click on the links on the left to locate information you need to get started in field.
